Merry Crashmas!

Here's a quick blog post to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy holiday period!

2018 has been one of new beginnings for me. I finally escaped a job that was quite a depressing one and had consumed my working life for 5 and a half years prior. Customer service is something I don't wish anyone to go through for any more than a couple of months. Every Christmas had become a frustrating one full of complaints and no time off, so it's such a relief I've finally found myself in a content writing position with a company that actually has Christmas off. Poly has also ended the year just heading into a new position coding documents for an IT department. Hooray!

My family have also ended a lot of quite large life events and began on entirely new journeys, whether that's the separation of long standing partners or moving into a new home. Plenty of my friends have heart-warmingly been more in contact with me, but also I've been able to spend more time with them both online and off thanks to now having a consistent timetable in my job (also, the job is an apprenticeship, probably worth noting... one full of wonderful people that don't make me feel like I'm not worth any airspace).

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled has also been announced, signalling an exciting promise for next year. Wonderful times starting and wonderful finishes ahead!

So, this Christmas Eve, Poly and I have had a lovely celebration of the year before as we head into Christmas itself. We have a small Christmas tree, but I always smile when I see the knitted Smaz character atop the tree. Smaz, my namesake character, will appear in the future in Tekaic. I'll go into more detail when that has further form, but for now... yet another new beginning!

With CTR: Nitro-Fueled on the horizon, 2019 feels like it will be an exciting one full of wumpalicious new treats. So, from me to everyone, have a Merry Crashmas and a Nitro-Fueled 2019.
