Crash Team Rumble Summer Launch

Crash Team Rumble, the mass online battle game from the Crash Bandicoot series, has unveiled a new gameplay trailer, season roadmap and characters!

Shown at Summer Games Fest 2023, the trailer revealed all new maps, gameplay and hype for the impending launch, later in June:

As you can see, several new maps have been shown from the Crash Bandicoot 4 side of things, such as Tranquility Falls (with the Eastern-inspired landscape) and what looks like something akin to the Sn@xx Dimension (with the futuristic buildings), to name but a few. There's even plenty of funky cosmetics to unlock!

Also, a new Season 1 roadmap has been unveiled, officially revealing not one but two new characters:

Season 1 of Crash Team Rumbler reveals treats galore

Ripper Roo and N.Gin join the Crash Team Rumble roster! Both are fan favourite characters from the series, with Ripper Roo last seen jumping around on the rooftops in Crash 4's Off Beat, and N.Gin in the same game's Stage Dive.

Speaking of characters, newcomer, Catbat, has received a lot of new lore in the past few days. Developers Toys For Bob released a comic strip revealing their background, non-binary gender, voice actor (Nicola Saviori) and plenty more.
