Crash Team Rumble Season 2

Crash Team Rumble Season 2 is coming, ready for 12th September 2023!

Since launching in the summer, Crash Team Rumble's 4v4 battle system has seen new additions and positive feedback. New characters have included the crazed kangaroo, Ripper Roo, as well Cortex's right-hand man, Dr. N. Gin. New modes have even been added for a time, such as Zap Trap, and additional crates in the form of TNTs and more.

Now, Season 2 is set to feature more new exciting stuff to play with, including one of Spyro the Dragon's villains, Ripto. Strange that he's seen in the game before Spyro himself, but I'm sure Spyro will be on his way in the near future, given he and Crash have always had a sort of sibling partnership between their games. Ripto is hinted to be a Booster-type character, specialising in dexterity and holding plenty of delicious Relics to help support the team.

Also set to come is the Nitro crate, which historically blows up instantly upon contact. Naturally, I expect the Green ! crate to also appear with this, which will explode all Nitro crates in the area when attacked.

I look forward to FINALLY playing Crash Team Rumble in the near future. I'm still in a state of now no longer owning a PlayStation 4 or affording a PlayStation 5, but I'm hoping that will change soon. In the meantime, I hope you all get to enjoy the shiny new goodies set to launch in Season 2 on 12th September!
