CTR Heart-Racing Screenshots
Following the initial announcement, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled has received some shiny new screenshots!
The new screenshots show off Tiger Temple in all its torchlit glory, promising us some ambient but pulse pumping racing. Pleasingly, one of the new screens shows us the first depiction of Dingodile in his kart. He's looking as menacing as ever as he sneaks up on Pura.

Thomas Wilson, developer Beenox's creative head for Nitro-Fueled, has also given a second interview with Activision. Wilson's first interview details his relationship with CTR, whilst this new one goes into more of what's new. He acknowledges the power-slide mechanic and its importance to the authenticity of CTR, as well as the differences put in place for the new game, such as:
"In Nitro-Fueled, we pushed the personality of [Tiny Arena] to feel more like a monster truck arena with metal, graffiti, and fire coming out of Tiny statues. Then our Senior Audio Designer, Nicolas Tremblay, listened to the soundtrack and made it sound more like a rock song with a little bit of metal to emphasize that feeling you get in a monster truck arena."
