Just a quick life update for you - I've received a Distinction from my Digital Marketing Apprenticeship!

For the past two years, I've been on an apprenticeship. It should have been one year, but the apprenticeship provider went into administration a few months in and I had to start again after six months. Then, when I was going to wrap things up, COVID-19 hit and everything was put on hold. It's therefore taken two years to finish this thing, but what a ride it's been.

As part of the marketing team with my employer, I've been a content writer and social media dogsbody. That means blog content, e-mail marketing e-shots, newsletters, you name it - anything that involves the written word. This has somewhat evolved over time and I've been creating video content and weekly podcasts as part of this all, too. To focus on that all now, instead of trying to balance the hefty amount of coursework, the exams and online interviews, is a huge weight off my shoulders.

So here's to a happy weekend and many more smiles to come. I've finally turned my life around to a career I want, post-uni. It only took a decade.
